The Saints then went on an 11-5 run in the next four minutes to increase their lead to double digits at 20-9. St. Scholastica answered with a punch of their own going on a 13-2 run in the next three minutes to regain a comfortable 58-34 lead with just under 10 minutes left in the game.

Northland struck back going on a 14-4 run of its own to bring the score back within 12 points at 60-48. Collin Anderson (Eagan, Minn./Eagan HS) would put the scoring on his back for the Saints final run of the game scoring 11 points for the Saints to push the lead back up to 21 with three minutes left in the game.
