MOORHEAD, Minn. (
csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica men's soccer team surrendered four second-half goals in a 4-1 setback to Concordia College-Moorhead on Sunday.
How it Happened
For the fifth time this season the Saints played to a scoreless first half of action as the Cobbers (5-3-1) out-shot the Saints 8-1, including striking the frame twice.
Concordia then broke through in a big way in the second half, registering four goals. Sam Gess had the first two goals in the 55
th and 61
st minutes.

Armin Bobaric (Andover, Minn./Andover HS) got the Saints on the board in the 71
st minute thanks to an assist from
Nolan Friday (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS) to cut the deficit in half at 2-1.
Unfortunately, the Cobbers added two more goals in the 77
th and 83
rd minutes to make the final 4-1.
Corey Bulheller (Middleton, England/Highfields Secondary School (Bacone)) made three saves in the loss, while Keith Sullivan had three saves to earn the win for the Cobbers.
