What You Need To Know about St. Scholastica:
-The Saints open the season at 2-0 for the first time since 2014, when they rattled of 10 wins for a perfect regular season.
-CSS will have their "second home opener" of the season as Saturday's game will be the first of 2019 at Public Schools Stadium. The first two coming at Malosky Stadium, where the Saints are now 13-2 all time. (13-game winning streak.)
-In last week's victory over Presentation College (S.D.), the Saints rattled off 34 unanswered points to seal the victory after a 7-6 lead after the first quarter.
-The Saints rushed for 128 yards in the win over Presentation, marking the first time the Saints have rushed for over 100 yards against a non-conference opponent in a game since they did so twice in the 2014 season against Ripon College (Wis.) and Saint John's University.
-CSS has been prefect in the red zone thus far, punching it in the end zone each of the five times they have reached the red zone.
-The Saints are 9-2 in Homecoming Games all-time with the two losses coming in their first Homecoming game against Crown in 2008 and to the University of Northwestern (Minn.) in 2016.
Players to Watch on Offense:
-Quarterback
Zach Edwards (St. Paul, Minn./Henry Sibley HS) – Edwards threw five touchdown passes last week. His second of the day broke the program record for most passing touchdowns in a career, now set at 67. Edwards needs just one more TD to break Tyler Harper's record of most TD's responsible for.
-Wide receiver
Reese Jansen (Eden Valley, Minn./Eden Valley-Watkins HS) – Jansen had 97 yards on only three receptions, including a touchdown and a highlight reel grab.
-Wide receiver
Mitchell Adrian (Altoona, Wis./Altoona HS) – Adrian had 148 total yards and 2 touchdowns, Saturday. He rushed for 80 and added 68 on 10 receptions. Adrian is currently tied for a NCAA Division III-best 24 receptions this season.
Players to Watch on Defense:
-Linebacker
Gabe Delmont (St. Paul, Minn./Henry Sibley HS) – Delmont had his first career interception on Saturday, and ran it back for a 17 yard return. He also added six tackles
-Linebacker
Eric Soderberg (Cohasset, Minn./Grand Rapids HS) – Soderberg recorded a team-high 14 tackles, and added 2 tackles-for-loss. Soderberg currently leads the Saints with 27 tackles.
-Defensive Back
Will Halloran (Belle Plaine, Minn./New Prague HS) – Halloran recorded six tackles for the Saints Saturday. He recorded two tackle-for-losses and added a sack for a loss of 10 yards.
What You Need to Know about Crown:
Record: 1-1, 0-0 UMAC
-Crown won their first game since October 2016, with a 23-6 win over Beloit College (Wis.) last Saturday.
-Crown put up 20 straight points to get the victory.
-Crown held their opponent to 86 total yards, including -1 rushing yards.
-The Storm only threw for 62 passing yards Saturday, but accumulated 317 yards on the ground.
-Avory Caruthers and Ameer Lee split most of the carries for the Storm. Caruthers had 24 attempts for 162 yards and a touchdown, Lee had 22 carries for 131 yards.
-Lee ranks seventh in the country with 269 rushing yards and 14
th in all-purpose yards per game (193.5) through the first two weeks.
-Crown snagged four interceptions in Saturday's victory.
-Jared Gilmore was 5-for-16 for 63 yards and a touchdown through the air
-The Storm lead the conference in time of possession (34.30 per game), while the Saints have the fewest in the conference (27.37 per game).
-The Storm defense ranks sixth in NCAA Division III with passing efficiency defense.
-The Storm are averaging a conference-worst 95.0 penalty yards per game.

Series History: Crown's lone victory over CSS was a 51-13 win on St. Scholastica's first homecoming. Since then, the Saints have rattled of 10 straight wins, combining for a +269 point differential in that streak.
Looking Ahead: The Saints will head on the road for the first time in 2019, they'll head to Fulton, Missouri to face Westminster College (Mo.). Kickoff is set for 12 p.m. (noon) CST.
