What You Need To Know about St. Scholastica:
-The Saints are coming off a season-opening win for the first time since the 2014 season.
-A victory on Saturday would mark the first time since 2010, the Saints opened the season with a pair of non-conference victories.
-CSS will also have a 12-game winning streak on the line at Malosky Stadium.
-The last defeat at Malosky took place in the team's inaugural season of 2008.
-The Saints have had to switch to Malosky for the second consecutive week, due to the continued maintenance on the track at Public Schools Stadium.
-In last week's win over Mayville State University (N.D.), the Saints scored 21 consecutive points twice in the contest.
-It was also the first time since a 2016 win at Westminster College (Mo.), that the Saints trailed by 14 points or more in the fourth quarter and won.
-The CSS defense was +4 in turnover margin last Saturday, the first time that has happened since a win against Crown College in 2016.
-Saturday marked the first career head coaching win for
Mike Heffernan as he personally still has not been part of a loss at Malosky Stadium (8-0)
Players to Watch on Offense:
-Quarterback
Zach Edwards (St. Paul, Minn./Henry Sibley HS) – Edwards threw four touchdown passes last week and needs just one more TD pass to tie Tyler Harper's program record of 63 in a career. He also needs just five completions to tie Harper's career record of 453. He is six touchdowns shy of Harper's mark of 74 career TDs responsible for.
-Wide receiver
Eddie Lee (Maple Grove, Minn./Maple Grove HS) – Lee became the eighth player in program history to record over 1,000 receiving yards last week.
-Wide receiver
Mitchell Adrian (Altoona, Wis./Altoona HS) – Adrian set a single-game program record last week with 14 receptions and went over 100 yards receiving for the third time in his last six games.
Players to Watch on Defense:
-Linebacker
Eric Soderberg (Cohasset, Minn./Grand Rapids HS) – Soderberg matched a team-high with 13 tackles last week. He also was pivotal in the kicking game, averaging 44.3 yards per punt and putting Mayville State inside the 20-yard-line three times.
-Defensive lineman
Cal Germain (Osceola, Wis./Osceola HS) – Germain recorded 11 tackles last week, but also had three tackles for a loss, including a pair of sacks.
-Linebacker
Chase Kleppe (Orr, Minn./North Woods HS) – In his first collegiate game last week, Kleppe matched a team-high with 13 tackles, one pass breakup and one QB hurry.

What You Need to Know about Presentation:
-The Saints are in the same North Start Athletic Association (NSCA) as CSS' previous opponent Mayville State.
-Presentation is led by first-year head coach Steve Heimann.
-The Saints started a football program in 2011 and were NCAA Division III for one season before converting to the NAIA.
-Presentation began the season with a two-point loss to Trinity International University (Ill.) after leading 13-0 at the start of the game.
-The Saints are coming off a 44-0 setback to Dakota Wesleyan University (S.D.).
-Quarterback Hunter Giffrow has averaged 186 yards through the air in the first two games, but has five interceptions.
-His main target has been Dylan Paulsen, who has 12 receptions for 134 yards.
-Presentation has averaged just 62 rushing yards per game thus far.
-Jerod Boswell leads the Saints defense with 18 tackles, including two for a loss.
-Devonta Brooks has three of the team's five interceptions.

Series History: The last meeting between the two squads was in 2012 in Aberdeen with CSS earning its first-ever overtime victory, coming out on top 20-17 … The previous year was the lone year Presentation was in the conference and the CSS offense put up offensive records in a 70-20 victory at UMAC Dome Day at the Metrodome … Saturday will be Presentation's first trip to Duluth.
Looking Ahead: It will be Homecoming for St. Scholastica on Saturday, September 21 when they open conference play against Crown College. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. at Public Schools Stadium.
