What You Need to Know about the Saints:
-The Saints fell 2-0 in its season opener on Friday at St. Olaf.
-CSS was held without a shot on goal in the defeat.
-CSS is coming off a 2018 campaign which saw them fail to win either the UMAC Regular Season or Tournament championship for the first time under head coach
Barry Chastey.
-CSS was picked to finish second in the league this season behind defending champion University of Wisconsin-Superior.
-The Saints lose their top two goal scorers from a season ago, but welcome back their next three in
Malcolm Lumsden (Kingston, Jamaica/Kingston College (Lake Superior College)),
Armin Bobaric (Andover, Minn./Andover HS) and
Jordan Finneran (Newmarket, England/Cambridge Regional College).
-Seven starters are back with at least two returners at each level of the field, including starting goalkeeper
Corey Bulheller (Middleton, England/Highfields Secondary School (Bacone)).
-Bulheller missed some games last season due to injury.
-CSS will have 12 non-conference games this season and will only see conference foes one time during the regular season.
-Of those 12 games, they will see three of the top four projected teams from the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) and American Rivers Conference, as well as, the projected top team from the Midwest Conference.

-The Johnnies are coming off a come-from-behind 2-1 victory over Nebraska Wesleyan University on Saturday.
-Saint John's is projected to place sixth in the MIAC this season after going 8-7-1 last season.
-Last season, they got off to a 5-0-1 start before ending the season on a five-game losing streak.
