NORTHFIELD, Minn. (
csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica men's soccer team fell to St. Olaf College 2-0 on Friday to open the 2019 season.
How it Happened
The first 45 minutes of play would be scoreless with St. Olaf outshooting the Saints 7-3, however, only one Ole shot would be on goal.
Just over three minutes into the second half, the Oles found the net on a Will Douglas goal. Douglas then added insurance for the Oles in the 68
th minute to make it 2-0, which would be the final.
Goalkeeping
Corey Bulheller (Middleton, England/Highfields Secondary School (Bacone)) made three saves in the loss for the Saints. Hamza Osman did not have to make a save to earn the shutout for the Oles.
