NORTHFIELD, Minn. (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica men's soccer team fell to St. Olaf College 2-0 on Friday to open the 2019 season.
 
How it Happened
The first 45 minutes of play would be scoreless with St. Olaf outshooting the Saints 7-3, however, only one Ole shot would be on goal.
 
Just over three minutes into the second half, the Oles found the net on a Will Douglas goal. Douglas then added insurance for the Oles in the 68th minute to make it 2-0, which would be the final.
 
Goalkeeping
Corey Bulheller (Middleton, England/Highfields Secondary School (Bacone)) made three saves in the loss for the Saints. Hamza Osman did not have to make a save to earn the shutout for the Oles.

The Saints will have their home opener on Sunday when they welcome Saint John's University to Saints Field. Start time is scheduled for 1 p.m.
