csssaints.com) – St. Scholastica track & field had four athletes compete Thursday night at the Saint Mary's University Open.
Plewa Wins 1500; Foss Second
Sophomore
Aria Plewa (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS) won the 1,500m run with a personal-best time of 4:53.09. That is the fourth-fastest time in that event in program history.
Junior
Easton Foss (Pine City, Minn./Pine City HS) took part in the men's 1,500m run and placed second with a personal-best time of 4:07.02.
Other Performances
Joe Guimond (Shakopee, Minn./Shakopee HS) finished fourth in the javelin throw with a personal-best mark of 142'5" (43.42m).
Teddy Widmer (Bend, Ore./Bend HS) placed sixth in the 400m hurdles, posting a time of 1:03.35

The rest of the Saints will compete in Duluth on Saturday at the Bulldog Open, hosted by the University of Minnesota Duluth. Action is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.
