RESULTS

STOWE, Vt. (csssaints.com) – St. Scholastica freshman Emil Book Bratbak (Lillehammer, Norway/Lillehammer) finished 32nd Wednesday morning in the 10km freestyle individual start to open the NCAA Skiing Championships.

How it Happened
Book Bratbak was the seventh skier in the 40-skier field to make his run. At the five kilometer split, Book Bratbak was 38th in the field with a time of 12:54. He climbed up to 34th at the eight kilometer split before finishing with the 32nd best time of 25:53.

Book Bratbak was fifth among the six Central Region skiers in the field. Northern Michigan University had two skiers place in the top 10. He was also seventh of the eight skiers from NCAA Division III institutions that competed. Because he finished outside of the top 30, he failed to record any points for the Saints
