BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica men's tennis team suffered a 7-2 loss to Luther College (Iowa) Saturday evening at Lifetime Fitness in the Twin Cities.
 
Doubles
The Norse (4-1) swept all three doubles matches.
 
Singles
Sophomore Elliot Schneider (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS) won his fifth straight match at the No. 2 spot, cruising to a 6-1, 6-1 victory. Freshman Rafa Gonzalez (La Libertad, El Salvador/FESA) won his fourth straight match at the No. 3 spot, rallying to a 3-6, 7-5, (10-7) triumph.
 
Serhii Tykhonenko (Kiev, Ukraine/Lyceum #100 "Podil") fell in super-breaker at the No. 1 spot 6-7 (4-7), 6-2, (10-5)
