csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica men's tennis team suffered a 7-2 loss to Luther College (Iowa) Saturday evening at Lifetime Fitness in the Twin Cities.

The Norse (4-1) swept all three doubles matches.

Sophomore
Elliot Schneider (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS) won his fifth straight match at the No. 2 spot, cruising to a 6-1, 6-1 victory. Freshman
Rafa Gonzalez (La Libertad, El Salvador/FESA) won his fourth straight match at the No. 3 spot, rallying to a 3-6, 7-5, (10-7) triumph.
Serhii Tykhonenko (Kiev, Ukraine/Lyceum #100 "Podil") fell in super-breaker at the No. 1 spot 6-7 (4-7), 6-2, (10-5)

The Saints (2-4) will head South for their next contest as it will see Saint Ambrose University (Iowa) and Franciscan University (Ohio) down in Orlando, Florida next Sunday to begin their annual Spring Break trip.
