Brynne Hauer (Duluth, Minn. /Duluth East HS) was named the UMAC Player of the Week after won both of her matches vs. UMD last week.

Sara Wennerstrand (Baxter, Minn. /Brainerd HS (Saint Benedict)) won at No. 2 singles in her first competitive tennis match in over four years.

-The Royals won their first two matches of the season last weekend by 9-0 scores over Minnesota State-Mankato and Northwestern College (Iowa).
-Bethel is projected to finish third in the MIAC this season.
-The Royals will be led by sisters Maggie and Grace Riermann.
-The tandem won the ITA Midwest Region doubles championship in the fall and are ranked No. 10 in the nation.

-The Cardinals are off to a 2-0 start after defeating UMAC programs Martin Luther College and the University of Northwestern (Minn.).
-SMU will face Gustavus in a conference match Saturday, before facing the Saints.
-Saint Mary's is picked to finish eighth in the MIAC this season, according to the preseason coaches' poll.
-The Cardinals won eight of the their final 11 matches last season.
-SMU will be led by All-MIAC honoree Laura Sonday.

-Gustavus is the preseason favorite to win the MIAC this season.
-GAC is ranked No. 28 in the nation and No. 5 in the Central Region by the ITA.
-Sophomore Ginger Valentine won the ITA Midwest Regional singles title in the fall and is ranked No. 17 nationally.
-Also back is Briana Hartmann, who won the 2017 ITA Midwest Regional.
