What You Need to Know about the Saints:
-The Saints have been led by newcomers thus far this season as Brynne Hauer (Duluth, Minn. /Duluth East HS), Madilyn Jankila (Eveleth, Minn. /Eveleth-Gilbert HS) and Sara Wennerstrand (Baxter, Minn. /Brainerd HS (Saint Benedict)) have combined for four of the team's five singles wins.
-The No. 2 doubles team of senior Katelyn Rice (Eveleth, Minn./Eveleth-Gilbert HS) and junior Elizabeth Fink (Rochester, Minn./Rochester Century HS) is 2-2 on the year.
-B. Hauer leads the team with a 3-1 doubles record.
 
What You Need to Know about Macalester:
Record: 1-0, 0-0 MIAC
-The Scots opened their season with an 8-1 win over the University of Wisconsin-Superior last Saturday.
-Macalester has been picked to finish seventh in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC).
-Sophomore Laurel Hickey played at the No. 1 spot during her freshman season.
-Fellow sophomores Emma Baker and Natalie Sorajja will be a doubles pair to watch.
 
Series Record: MAC leads 5-3 (Last Meeting: 6-3 MAC – 2/10/2018)
 
Series History: The Scots snapped a three-match losing streak to the Saints last year … The last and only time CSS hosted Macalester was the 2000 season, which resulted in a 6-3 Scots win.
 
Looking Ahead: The Saints will head to the western part of the state to face Concordia College-Moorhead next Sunday.
