UMAC PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

Kaylee Kennedy (Littlefork, Minn./Littlefork-Big Falls HS) and
Anika Kling (Hudson, Wis./Hudson HS) were named Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Players of the Week in their respective sports on Monday.
Kennedy was named the UMAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week. Kennedy averaged 23.5 points per game in two games last week for the Saints making 55 percent of her field goal attempts. In Saturday's win over Crown College, Kennedy scored 16 first half points and finished with 27 of the team's 60 points. Kennedy has scored in double-figures in all eight games this season and is one of two players in the conference to be averaging over 17 points per game, while making at least 48 percent of her field goal attempts.
Kling is the UMAC Women's Track Athlete of the Week. In Saturday's season opener, Kling was second, but the top collegiate finisher, in the 200m dash with a time of 26.60. She was also the top Division III runner in 60m dash, placing fifth in a time of 8.01. This marks the seventh time Kling has been named UMAC Athlete of the Week in her career.
