What You Need to Know about the Saints:
-The Saints were able to take a win and a tie away from a road trip against 13
th ranked MSOE last weekend.
-The tie on Friday ended their four game losing streak to start the season.

Zane Steeves (Red Deer, Alberta/Athol Murray College of Notre Dame (100 Mile Wranglers-KIJHL)) was awarded with the NCHA Defensive Player of the Week for his efforts in Milwaukee. Steeves allowed only two goals on 69 shots helping the Saints to their first victory in 2019.

Jordan Fralich (Duluth, Minn./Duluth Marshall School (Bismarck-NAHL)),
Tyler Hinterser (Edwardsville, Ill./Edwardsville HS (Brookings-NAHL)), and
Zack DeBoom (Hibbing, Minn./Hibbing HS (Granite City-NA3HL)) all scored for the Saints over the weekend.
-Hinterser and DeBoom now lead the Saints with two goals on the year.
-Hinterser and Fralich lead the Saints with three points.
-It is early, but after two weekends of conference play, the Saints lead the NCHA North Division with three points.
-The Saints will look to change their power-play fortunes, they're 1-of-25 so far in 2019.
-The Saints average 32.7 shots per game.
-CSS has scored first in four of the first six games.

-Trine will come into the weekend winning four of its last five games, including a split against St. Norbert College (Wis.) last weekend.
-So far the Thunder are 2-0 on the road in 2019.
-Freshman Brad Jenion leads the Thunder with four goals.
-Sophomore Garret Hallford and senior Henry Hearon lead the team with six points.
-Senior Brett Young has started all six games for Trine with a 1.84 GAA paired with a .923 save percentage.
-Trine is averaging 34.7 shots per game, paired with 3.17 goals per game.
-The Thunder are outscoring teams 12-2 in the first period.
-They rank second in the NCHA with a penalty kill rate of 90.6 percent.

Series History: This will be the first weekend series between the two teams. They tied in the first ever meeting in 2017 in Indiana and the Saints pulled off the first win last season at Mars Lakeview Arena.
Looking Ahead: The Saints will head on the road and play a midweek non-conference matchup against Saint John's University Tuesday. Puck drop is slated for 7 p.m.
