MILWAUKEE, Wis. (csssaints.com) – Junior Carson Rose (Surrey, British Columbia/Elgin Park Secondary (Weyburn-SJHL)) tied the game with just over six minutes to play in regulation as the St. Scholastica men's hockey team played to a 1-1 tie with No. 13 Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) Friday night in Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) action.
 
How it Happened
After a scoreless first period where each team recorded nine shots one goal, the Raiders got on the board two minutes into the second period with a power-play goal to make it 1-0.
 
It remained 1-0 until 6:07 to play in regulation when Rose scored the team's first power-play goal of the season to tie the contest at 1-1. Sam Fuss (Edina, Minn./Edina HS (Minot-NAHL)) and Jordan Fralich (Duluth, Minn./Duluth Marshall School (Bismarck-NAHL)) had the assists.
 
The game went to overtime tied at 1-1 and the Raiders were looking to end it late, but hit the post in the final minute and the contest ended in a 1-1 tie.
 
Goaltending
Zane Steeves (Red Deer, Alberta/Athol Murray College of Notre Dame (100 Mile Wranglers-KIJHL)) made 31 saves for the Saints, while Logan Halladay had 27 saves for the Raiders.
