What You Need To Know about St. Scholastica: 
-For the second straight time against Westminster College (Mo.) in Missouri, the Saints rallied from two scores down in the fourth quarter to beat the Blue Jays and remain unbeaten last Saturday.
-CSS threw for almost 400 yards in the victory over Westminster, fourth most all-time in Saints history in a single game.
-The Saints average 305.0 passing yards per game, which sits second in the conference and 29th in NCAA Division III.
-The Saints also rank 21st in the nation, while leading the conference in Red-zone offense converting on 93.3% of trips inside the 20.
-St. Scholastica also ranks at the top of the conference in third down offense, they convert on 45.5% of third down, also ranking the 48th in Division III.
-The Saints are outscoring teams 62-24 in the second quarter this season.
-Three of St. Scholastica's first four wins have been by seven points or less, which already matches a single-season program high from 2014 and 2010.
 
Players to Watch on Offense: 
-Quarterback Zach Edwards (St. Paul, Minn./Henry Sibley HS) – Edwards continues to set records for CSS, with his 396 passing yards on Saturday he put himself fourth all-time in passing yards in a game. Saturday, he also set the record for most completions in a game with 36. Edwards currently leads all of NCAA Division III in points responsible for at 124.
-Wide receiver Reese Jansen (Eden Valley, Minn./Eden Valley-Watkins HS) – Jansen continues to be the deep threat for CSS this season, though he is only tied for third on the team with 16 receptions all season, he leads the Saints receivers with 343 yards and second on the team with four scores. Jansen is averaging 21.5 yards per reception.
-Wide receiver Mitchell Adrian (Altoona, Wis./Altoona HS) – Adrian continues to pace the CSS receiving corps, tied for the team lead with receptions on Saturday with 11, he racked up 94 yards and a touchdown. Adrian ranks second in the nation, averaging 10.3 receptions per game.
 
Players to Watch on Defense: 
-Linebacker Eric Soderberg (Cohasset, Minn./Grand Rapids HS) – Soderberg led all Saints with 13 tackles Saturday. He also mixed in 4.5 tackles-for-loss, 1 sack, an interception, and the game winning extra point. Soderberg took the conference lead in tackles for the season, now with 46. He also leads the conference, averaging 2.0 tackles for a loss per game.
-Defensive Lineman Tandrell Foster (Hurley, Wis./Hurley HS) – Foster was third on the team with four tackles in Saturday's win, he also recorded the only other sack of the game which went for a loss of 14.
-Defensive Back Daniel Voxland (Savage, Minn./Academy of Holy Angels) – Voxland recorded his first collegiate interception, securing the win for CSS with nine seconds to go in the game last Saturday.
 

What You Need to Know about Martin Luther:
Record: 2-1, 1-0 UMAC
-After a bye week in week one of the UMAC season, the Knights hosted Greenville and secured their first conference win of the season with a 43-14 victory over the Panthers.
-The 43 points are the most scored by a UMAC team this season.
-The Knights were predicted to finish atop the UMAC once again in 2019 in the coaches poll.
-The Knights continue with the strong rushing offense from a year ago, the Knights' conference leading rushing attack averages 248.0 yards per game, good for 21st in NCAA Division III.
-The Knights passing offense isn't as strong as the rush, averaging only 157.7 yards per game, but when they do throw it, they go long. The Knights rank third in Division III with 21.5 yards per completion.
-Their rushing defense is their strong point ranking second in the conference allowing only 110.3 yards per game, but their one weak point is their pass defense. The pass defense for the Knights ranks fifth in the conference allowing 228 yards per game.
-Austin DeNoyer is the lead back for the Knights. DeNoyer has 64 carries for 264 yards good for 4.1 YPC.
-DeNoyer was the 2018 UMAC Offensive Player of the Year
-Joshuah Kren is the change of pace back for the steady Knights rushing attack, Kren has 209 rushing yards on only 30 carries, good for 7.0 YPC.
-Kren had three TDs last week against Greenville.
-Ian Paulsen leads the defense, averaging nine tackles per game.
-Dan Gensmer is tied with Cal Germain (Osceola, Wis./Osceola HS) for the conference lead, averaging a sack per game.
 
Series Record: CSS leads 7-5 (Last Meeting: MLC 49-21 – 9/29/2018) 
 
Series History: Its been a series of streaks between these two clubs. Martin Luther started out the series with four straight victories over CSS. Then the Saints flipped the scripting winning seven in a row up until last season when Martin Luther shocked the UMAC en route to their 2018 UMAC Championship.
 
Looking Ahead: The Saints take a short road trip to take on the University of Northwestern (Minn.) in St. Paul next Saturday. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m.
