DULUTH, Minn. (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica men's basketball team heads on the road Saturday to face Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) rival University of Northwestern (Minn.).

What You Need to Know about the Saints:
-The Saints snapped a three-game losing skid with a home win over Martin Luther College on Wednesday.
-Freshman Quinn Fischer (Esko, Minn./Esko HS) recorded his first collegiate double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds.
-Fischer is making 53 percent of his field goal attempts, which ranks second in the UMAC
-Junior Anderson has scored in double-figures in every game he has appeared in this season.
-Anderson leads the UMAC and ranks in top-60 in NCAA Division III in 3-point field goals per game (3.3) and 3-point percentage (.439).
-Senior Nate Weets (Cloquet, Minn./Cloquet HS) is third in the conference with a 2.0 assist-to-turnover ratio.
-Senior Brandon Newman (Barnum, Minn./Barnum HS) has been held to less than 10 points in three consecutive games, the first time that has happened in his career.
-The Saints have forced the most turnovers per game (14.9) in the conference.
-Three of CSS' seven losses this season have been by six points or less.

Record: 7-6, 3-1 UMAC
-The Eagles are coming off a 21-point win at Northland College on Wednesday.
-Northwestern knocked off preseason UMAC favorite Bethany Lutheran College to open conference play.
-Its lone conference loss came at Crown College.
-The Eagles have scored at least 90 points in five games this season, including in each of the last three games.
-Historically, Northwestern has been known for taking care of the basketball and that reigns true this year as it leads the conference and ranks 17th in NCAA Division III in fewest turnovers per game (11.2).
-The Eagles rank seventh in the nation with a 1.57 team assist-to-turnover ratio.
-UNW has five players that average in double-figures in scoring.
-They are led by Tanner Youngberg, who averages 15.7 points per game and leads the conference with 9.9 rebounds per game.
-Youngberg has a conference-best seven double-doubles on the year.
-Michael Moore leads the UMAC with a 2.62 assist-to-turnover ratio, while Anderson Bazille Jr. ranks 10th in the country, making 92 percent of his free throw attempts.
