DULUTH, Minn. (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica men's basketball team saw its 10-game win streak come to an end with a 71-59 setback to Northland College in the regular season home finale at the Reif Gymnasium Wednesday.

Shooting Woes

Northland Takes Advantage
The Saints had a pair of 7-0 runs that kept them in the game in the first half. A Dylan Zimmerman (Elmdale, Minn./Upsala HS) jumper tied the game at 27-27 with under three minutes remaining in the half.

However, the LumberJacks (11-13, 7-8 UMAC) closed the half scoring the final six points and then opened the second half with eight straight points for a 14-0 run.

St. Scholastica only got as close as eight the rest of the way as the LumberJacks shot 58 percent from the floor in the second half to win for the first time at The Reif since February of 2005 by a final of 71-59.
