WHITE BEAR LAKE, Minn. (csssaints.com) -- The St. Scholastica women's tennis team fell to Macalester College 6-3 Saturday night at the Lifetime Fitness Center. Previously, the Saints had won the last three meetings against the Scots.

Doubles
The Saints won one out of three matches. St. Scholastica's No. 1 and No. 3 team both lost with scores of 8-2. The No. 2 team, Elise Hauer (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS) and Alexia Brascugli (Eveleth, Minn./Eveleth-Gilbert HS), defeated their opponents 9-7.

Singles
CSS won two out of six matches, but pushed a third match into three sets. No. 3 Katelyn Rice (Eveleth, Minn./Eveleth-Gilbert HS) won the first set 6-2, but lost the second set 5-7 and then fell in a third set super-breaker 10-1.

At No. 4, Elizabeth Fink (Rochester, Minn./Rochester Century HS) won 6-4, 6-2. Sarah Coryell (Golden Valley, Minn./Armstrong HS), at No. 5, extended her win streak after winning 6-1, 6-3.

The Saints (2-2) take a break and then travel to Rochester, Minnesota for a match against University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. The match is scheduled for Saturday, February 24 at 4:30 p.m.
