What You Need to Know about the Saints:
-The Saints are projected to finish fifth in the preseason coaches' poll this season.
-This is the second of the last three seasons the Saints have gotten out to a 0-4 start. Last time was 2016 in a 0-6 start.
-The Saints are shooting .376 from the floor this season and .257 from the three point line.
-Sophomore
Kaylee Kennedy (Littlefork, Minn./Littlefork-Big Falls HS) has led the team in scoring through the first four games averaging 14.8 per contest.
-Kennedy is shooting over 55-percent from the field, which ranks second in the conference. She also is shooting a .733 from the free throw line which is seventh best in the UMAC.

Alison Huber (Ashland, Wis./Ashland HS (Hibbing CC)) ranks third among UMAC players in assists, averaging 3.8 per contest.
What You Need to Know about UW-Superior:
Overall Record: 5-1, 0-0 UMAC
-The Jackets were voted to finish first in the preseason coaches' poll with 6-of-9 first place votes.
-The only loss thus far for UWS is a 16-point defeat to Augsburg University.
-The Jackets have gone 16-0 in conference play for the last three seasons since joining the UMAC. They have yet to lose a UMAC game totaling at 54 games with postseason included.
-As a team the Jackets are shooting .464 from the floor and .416 from three.
-Senior forward Hannah Norlin leads the Jackets averaging 19.0 points per game and her .646 field goal percentage leads the conference.
-Norlin also leads the conference in total rebounds.
-Junior guard Emily Carpenter leads the UMAC averaging 5.8 assists per game.

Series History: A series that typically has been back and forth since the first meeting between these teams in 1978 has taken a turn towards the South side of the bridge as UWS has won the last 11 meetings and 14 of the last 16.
Looking Ahead: The Saints will continue their tough schedule to open the season as they will face Bethany Lutheran College, who was tabbed to finish second in the preseason coaches' poll. Tip-off scheduled for Saturday at 3 p.m. in Mankato.
