csssaints.com) -- The St. Scholastica men's hockey team tied the Milwaukee School of Engineering 2-2 Saturday at Mars Lakeview Arena, after MSOE scored two power-play goals in the second period.
The Action
The Saints scored their two goals in the first period. With ;ess than six minutes left in the period, CSS scored two goals within 25 seconds.

Jon Hansen (Twig, Minn./Duluth Marshall (Minnesota Mullets-USPHL)) for his first collegiate goal, putting St. Scholastica on the board at 1-0.
Riley Bechard (Sedley, Saskatchewan/Athol Murray College of Notre Dame (Woodstock-MJAHL)) recorded his first collegiate point off of an assist to
Kristofer McKinzie (Duluth, Minn./Duluth Marshall School (Minnesota Magicians-NAHL)) for the second goal 25 seconds later. McKinzie's goal strengthen the lead going into the second period.
In the second period, MSOE (2-3-1, 2-1-1 NCHA) tied up the game with two power-play goals. The first goal for the Raiders was scored two minutes into the period, after a penalty was called on CSS for slashing.
Now at 2-1, the Raiders kept the energy up. MSOE scored on another power-play opportunity in the last two minutes of the period to make the game 2-2 heading into the third.
In the third, the Saints out-shot the Raiders 13-4 and had a power-play in the final minute, but the contest went to overtime.
In overtime, CSS was still on the power-play, but would only get one shot on goal. The contest ultimately ended in a 2-2 tie.

Nick Trenciansky (Vancouver, British Columbia/Holy Cross Regional HS (Kindersley-SJHL)) stopped 20 of 22 shots. His save percentage for the season is now .943. MSOE goalie Rock Boynton saved 26 of 28 shots.
