Another Sixth-Place Finish for Mische-Richter

RESULTS

CABLE, Wis. (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica men's nordic ski team was able to jump the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and place third among Central Collegiate Ski Association (CCSA) schools on Sunday in the 15km Telemark Chase.
 
Top Performances
For the second consecutive day, freshman Tamer Mische-Richter (Bloomington, Minn./John F. Kennedy HS) placed sixth among CCSA skiers with a time of 34:45. Jack Christianson (Arden Hills, Minn./Mounds View HS) was 15th with a finishing time of 36:53. Dan DeLestry (Eau Claire, Wis./Eau Claire Memorial HS) was the final Saint to score, placing 17th with a time of 37:14.
 
It is the first time both DeLestry and Christianson have scored on both races of a weekend.
 
Michigan Tech placed first among CCSA schools with four skiers placing in the top five. Thomas Bye led everyone with a winning time of 34:35.
 
Up Next
The Saints will be at home next weekend when they host the Saints Invitational 15km classic race on Saturday and the CCSA Relay Championships on Sunday. Both events will take place at Spirit Mountain.
