Even First

Five minutes later, the Saints evened the score on a Brandon Millin (Port Moody, British Columbia/Heritage Woods HS (Notre Dame Hounds-SJHL) ) power-play goal. Brett Radford (Campbell River, British Columbia/Athol Murray College of Notre Dame (Canmore-AJHL)) and Josh Hansen (Chilliwack, British Columbia/Unity Christian School (Chilliwack-BCHL) ) had the assists. All Adrian in Second
The second period took a turn in physicality as there were eight penalties called for a total of 29 minutes. Unfortunately for the Saints, Adrian penalties seemed to lead to scoring chances…for the Bulldogs. Adrian scored two short-handed goals in the opening 10 minutes to make it 3-1. The Bulldogs later scored 4-on-4 and then added a power-play goal with one second left in the second period to make it 5-1.

Kale Derkson (Regina, Saskatchewan/Sheldon Williams Collegiate/Athol Murray College of Notre Dame (Notre Dame-SJHL)) scored for the Saints on the power-play less than two minutes into the third period. Adrian added another goal to make the final 6-2.

Goaltending
Zane Steeves (Red Deer, Alberta/Athol Murray College of Notre Dame (100 Mile Wranglers-KIJHL)) made 33 saves in the loss for the Saints. Kevin Entmaa had 18 saves in the victory for the Bulldogs.
