What You Need to Know about the Saints:
-This will be St. Scholastica's first game in 14 days.
-The Saints enter the contest on a three-game losing skid with two of the three losses against teams that are currently ranked or receiving votes in the USCHO.com poll.
-CSS set a program record with 106 penalty minutes against the Milwaukee School of Engineering in its last contest.
-St. Scholastica has committed 38 penalties in three losses and have committed at least eight penalties the last four games.
-CSS earned at least eight penalties in a game only three times all of last season.
-The Saints are 1-for-19 on the power-play in the last three games.
-CSS has out-shot its opponents in four of the six games.
-The Saints have out-scored opponents 8-2 in the second period.
-20 different Saints have recorded points in the first six games; 21 players recorded a point all of last season.
-The Saints are a win shy of their 500th as a program.
 
What You Need to Know about UW-Superior:
-The Yellowjackets enter the weekend with a 2-5 overall record.
-UWS will host the University of St. Thomas on Friday before squaring off against the Saints Saturday.
-Both of Superior's wins have come by 3-2 scores against St. Olaf College and Finlandia University (Mich.).
-UWS is 1-3 against the NCHA with losses against Lake Forest College (Ill.), Concordia Wisconsin and Northland College.
-Senior forward Ian Ecklund leads the team with five goals.
-Sophomore Bruno Birzitis has a team-high five assists.
-In net, senior Kyle Miller and sophomore Cole Skinner have split time.
-Skinner has both victories and a .918 save percentage.
-All five of Superior's losses have come when it has allowed the first goal.
-The Yellowjackets are tied for fifth in the nation with a special teams success rate of 60 percent.
 
Series Record: UWS leads 85-38-9 (Last Meeting: 3-2 UWS – 11/23/2013)
 
Series History: Prior to 2014, the Saints and Yellowjackets played each other at least once every year from 1974-2013 with the exception of 1993 … The record in the last seven meetings is 3-3-1 … The last time the two teams met at Wessman Arena was the beginning of the 2012-13 season, which resulted in a series split.
