csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica men's soccer team saw its seven-game win streak come to an end on Sunday with a 1-0 loss at No.7-ranked University of St. Thomas.
The Action
The Tommies received a goal from Shae Bottom in the 14
th minute to give the Tommies an early 1-0 lead. St. Scholastica had a couple of injuries in the first half.
Darby Henderson (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS) left the game after playing just one minute and defender
Trygve Rennan (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS) was also sidelined in the 34
th minute.
The Saints managed a pair of corner kicks in the first half, but did not attempt a shot.
Juan Ochoa (Chihuahua, Mexico/Prepa Tec) put the only CSS shot on goal for the game in the 70
th minute. That came after a St. Thomas attempt struck the post. Later in the game, Bottom hit the crossbar for the Tommies. In the end, the final score read 1-0 in favor of St. Thomas.

Sandy Davidson-Hunt (Kenora, Ontario/St. Thomas Aquinas) made 10 saves in the loss. Aidan Hogan made just one save to earn the shutout for the Tommies.
Alex Dodd (Lakeville, Minn./Burnsville HS) led the Saints with a pair of shots.
