DUBUQUE, Iowa (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica men's soccer team lost to Loras College (Iowa) by a score of 3-0 at the Rock Bowl on Sunday.

Duhawks Start Quickly
Loras (11-5) started the scoring off early, with a goal from Mark Broderick off of a set piece play in the seventh minute. The Duhawks added another five minutes later, again off a set piece play. The initial service was punched away by Sandy Davidson-Hunt (Kenora, Ontario/St. Thomas Aquinas), but the clearance fell to Broderick and he quickly finished to extend the Duhawks lead.

Loras had the majority of the play for the remainder of the half, adding nine more shots, while CSS were held at five.

Second Half
The Duhawks once again started the half off quickly, and added to their lead in the 49th minute off of a header by Mark Histed.

Noah Hooey (Hermantown, Minn./Hermantown HS) forced Jacob Peterson to make a save in the 80th minute, but it would be the CSS' last shot of the game on target.
