csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica men's soccer team scored two goals in both halves on Saturday to earn its first win of the season with a 4-1 victory over Gustavus Adolphus College at the Gustavus Classic.
The Saints scored their first goal of the season when
Shawayne Folkes (Toronto, Ontario/Maxwell Heights) received a pass from
Kyle Farrar (London, England/Kelsey Park Sports College) and put it home in the 11
th minute to make it 1-0.

st minute
Armin Bobaric (Andover, Minn./Andover HS) scored his first collegiate goal when he bended his corner kick into the net to extend the margin to 2-0 CSS. Gustavus answered less than three minutes later on a Luke Laurich tally to make the halftime score 2-1 Saints.
Darby Henderson (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS) put the margin back at two for the Saints with a Bobaric assist in the 57
th minute to make it 3-1. It was another Bobaric assist that led to the Saints' fourth goal with
Kirk Garrity (Manchester, England/St. Ambrose College (Century College)) scoring off the corner to make the final score 4-1 St. Scholastica
Corrado Rosato (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS) made eight saves to earn his first collegiate victory. Both teams finished with nine shots on goal for the game.
