SUPERIOR, Wis. (
csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica men's soccer team had to postpone its game with Bridge Rival University of Wisconsin-Superior on Wednesday just 20 minutes into the first half due to lightning and darkness. The game will reset from the beginning at a later date.
The 20 minutes that did take place were not without drama, however, as the Yellowjackets had a penalty kick attempt 10 minutes into the game, but for the second straight game CSS goalkeeper Corrado Rasato made the stop. Then later in the half, UWS scored an apparent goal, but it was wiped out due to an offside call.
