DULUTH, Minn. (csssaints.com) -The St. Scholastica men's soccer team lost 1-0 to St. Olaf College Sunday afternoon on Saints Field. The game concluded the CSS hosted Advantage Emblem Cup.

The Action
The Saints fought hard against the Oles, but St. Olaf controlled play for much of the first half. The Oles goal came early in the game, around 16 minutes in. A series of headers led to a Aaron Miller goal to make the score 1-0.

In the second half of the game, Saints goalkeeper Corrado Rosato (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS) kept the Saints close with some great saves. CSS gained a little more possession in the final 45 minutes, but could not get a quality shot on goal as the Oles prevailed 1-0 to capture the Advantage Emblem Cup title.

St. Olaf had 11 shots on goal, while CSS had five. Shawayne Folkes (Toronto, Ontario/Maxwell Heights) led the Saints team with two shots on goal. Forward Darby Henderson (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS) and midfielders Luke Buckton (Bath, England/Writhlington School) and Trygve Rennan (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS) each had one shot on goal.
