csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica women's track & field team competed at the Saint Mary's University Open on Saturday.
Winners
Casey Hovland (North Branch, Minn./North Branch HS) won an event for the third straight meet, taking the 1,500m run in a time of 4:48.29.
Taylor Gibson (La Crescent, Minn./La Crescent HS) won the 800m run posting a time of 2:19.98.
Nicole Christianson (Coon Rapids, Minn./Coon Rapids HS) tied for first place in the high jump, clearing 5'3.25" (1.61m).
Other Top Performances
Emily Lundgren (Aitkin, Minn./Aitkin HS) was fourth in the 400m dash with a personal-best time of 1:01.34.
Nicole Schommer (Hutchinson, Minn./Hutchinson HS) was 10
th in that event finishing in 1:03.04.
Hannah Russert (Caledonia, Minn./Caledonia HS ) was fourth in the 100m hurdles in a time of 15.59.
Jordan Johnson (Poplar, Wis./Northwestern HS) was sixth in the 1,500m run with a personal-best time of 4:58.37.
Christianson was seventh in the long jump with a leap of 16'3" (4.95m).
Emily Conley (Marinette, Wis./Marinette HS) was also seventh in the shot put with a mark of 37'8.75" (11.50m).

The Saints will compete for the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Outdoor Championship next weekend in Morris, Minnesota. The two-day event begins on Friday.
