DULUTH, Minn. – Six members of the St. Scholastica women's track & field/cross country program were named to the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, the organization announced Tuesday.
Ella Heins (Ogilvie, MN/Ogilvie High School), Regan Niemi (Bemidji, MN/Bemidji HS), Abby Wood (Circle Pines, MN/Centennial HS), Ella Engen (Clearbrook, Minn./Clearbrook-Gonvick HS), Kyra Hovis (Duluth, MN/Superior High School) and Ella Stritesky (Rogers, Minn./Rogers HS) earned Academic All-District honors for the Saints, recognizing their combined performances in competition and in the classroom.
Stritesky was also selected as a CSC Academic All-America finalist and will advance to the national ballot.
The Academic All-District teams are selected by College Sports Communicators and honor the nation's top student-athletes for their academic and athletic achievements. To be eligible, student-athletes must meet CSC academic and athletic requirements, including maintaining at least a 3.50 cumulative grade-point average.
