Upper Midwest Athletic Conference: Standings | Stats

Last Action: The Saints were shut out at home against No. 8 University of St. Thomas on Sunday, falling 3-0.

Where They Stand: With a victory on Saturday at Martin Luther, St. Scholastica will capture the UMAC regular season title outright for the seventh straight year … CSS has already clinched at least a share of the regular season title and the No. 1 seed for the UMAC Tournament.

Still Streaking: Entering Saturday, the Saints have a NCAA collegiate record 107-game unbeaten streak against conference teams, including the UMAC Tournament … The Saints are unbeaten in their last 93 UMAC regular season games … Including conference tournament play, the Saints have the longest winning streak against league opponents (67 games) in NCAA Division III history … The last loss came at the University of Minnesota Morris on October 3, 2009 … The last tie in league play was September 30, 2011 at Northwestern.

Scoring Output Down: Entering Saturday's game, the Saints have scored 31 goals in seven conference games … That averages to 4.4 goals per game … That seems like a lot, but if you compare it to recent years, CSS averaged 7.2 goals per UMAC game in 2015, 7.6 goals/game in 2014, 7.1 in 2013 and 5.8 in 2012 … The 2011 season was the last time the Saints averaged less than four goals per game in league games (3.6).

Upcoming Opponents
Martin Luther Knights
Record: 9-7-1, 4-2-1 UMAC

The Knights will enter Saturday's game on a three-game losing streak after falling to Presentation College (S.D.) 7-1 on Thursday … Martin Luther fell to UW-Superior 5-0 last Saturday in Superior, which ended a six-game unbeaten streak … MLC is currently third in the conference with 13 points, but the University of Northwestern, who has 12 points and North Central University (Minn.), who has 10 points have two more league games remaining, while this is the finale for the Knights. … Aaron Markgraf and Joseph Graumann each have five goals to lead the MLC offensive attack … Markgraf also has a team-high three assists for a team-high 13 points … Four of his five goals have been penalty kicks. … Caleb King has four shutouts and a 1.78 goals-against-average in goal for MLC.

UW-Superior Yellowjackets
Record: 8-7-0, 5-1-0 UMAC

The Yellowjackets will be at the University of Northwestern on Saturday before coming back to the Twin Ports to face the Saints on Sunday … UWS has won three straight games, since falling to the Saints last week, including a solid 2-0 victory over Saint John's last Sunday … The 'jackets are currently in second place in the conference, but only hold a game lead over Martin Luther and Northwestern in the loss column … Eric Watson leads the team with 10 goals, which ranks second in the UMAC … Jon Bucklew has nine goals and that ranks third in the league … Ryan Wisdom leads the conference with 10 assists … Goalkeeper Ben Wilhelm ranks second in the conference with a 0.94 goals-against-average.

Series Histories:
-CSS leads Martin Luther 30-9-0
