Notables-First outdoor meet of the season-CSS placed seventh out of nine teams with 43.5 points
LA CROSSE, Wis. (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica women's track & field team competed at the Ashton May Invitational, hosted by the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse on Friday.
Nicole Christianson (Coon Rapids, Minn./Coon Rapids HS) won the high jump, clearing a height of 5'5" (1.65m). Christianson was also second in the triple jump with a mark of 36'0.25" (10.98m)
Brianna Buske (Bloomer, Wis./Bloomer HS) was runner-up in the 800m run with a time of 2:16.32.
Amy Campbell (Cloquet, Minn./Cloquet HS) was third in the 400m hurdles finishing in a personal-best time of 1:05.37.
Brittany Ludwig (Alexandria, Minn./Jefferson HS) was fifth in the discus throw with a toss of 122'8" (37.40m).
Danielle Dickson (Roseville, Minn./Totino Grace HS/Roseville HS) was sixth in the long jump with a leap of 17'0" (5.18m).
Sammi Argir (Chisholm, Minn./Hibbing HS) was seventh in the 400m dash, posting a time of 1:02.22.
The Saints will be at the Lee Krough Invite at Gustavus Adolphus College next Saturday.
