csssaints.com) – After defeating the LumberJacks at Mars Lakeview Arena on Friday night, the No. 15 St. Scholastica men's hockey team completed the weekend sweep of Northland College with a 3-2 victory on Saturday at the Bay Area Civic Center.

Justin Krabben (Rocky Mountain House, Alberta/Hunting Hills HS (Canmore-AJHL) ) power-play goal.
Derek Sutliffe (Las Vegas, Nev./Odyssey Charter School (Langley Rivermen-BCHL) ) and
Cole Golka (Ardrossan, Alberta/Athol Murray College of Notre Dame (Dryden Ice Dogs-SIJHL)) had the assists.
It remained 1-1 into the second period until Sutliffe broke the tie with a power-play goal with 8:30 left in the period. Golka and
Mark Whiteley (Surrey, British Columbia/Holy Cross HS (Marian University)) were credited with the assists.

The LumberJacks (1-7-0, 1-5-0 NCHA) cut the margin to 3-2 two minutes into the third period. However,
Tyler Bruggeman (North Mankato, Minn./Mankato West HS (Austin-NAHL) ) and the Saints held it from there for the 3-2 victory.
GoaltendingAfter stopping a career-high 49 shots last night, Bruggeman made 28 saves tonight to earn the victory. AJ Smith had 27 saves in the loss for the LumberJacks.
