"Tackle Cancer" Weekend: Saturday's game will be a "Tackle Cancer Game" in support of the Randy Shaver Cancer Research and Community Fund … The team will be accepting donations at the gate and fans can donate online at
www.randyshavercancerfund.org and clicking the tackle cancer button … The mission of the Randy Shaver Cancer Research and Community Fund is to support the cancer community in Minnesota by funding research, prevention, treatment and other programs relating to the cancer community's needs … Colleges and high schools across Minnesota have or are participating in this cause.
Points in a Half: The Saints set a program record for the most points in the first half of a game (47) in Saturday's win over Martin Luther … However, the most points in a half is 48 set in the second half against the University of Minnesota Morris during the 2013 season.
Saints Getting Recognition on a National Level: For the third time this season St. Scholastica has been represented on the D3football.com Team of the Week … The week five honor went to sophomore
Kenneth Jinkins (Mendota Heights, Minn./Henry Sibley HS), who set a program record for punt return yards in a game (103), including an 80-yard return for a score … He also recovered a fumble on kick coverage … So far this season, three Saints have been recognized by D3football.com for their efforts.
Big Second Quarters: The Saints have out-scored teams 73-10 in the second quarter this season this season and 112-19 in the first half this season … Over the past two-and-a-half seasons, CSS has outscored teams 361-92 in the second quarter.
Punt Return Scores: For the second straight week, the Saints returned a punt for a touchdown … CSS also had a punt return score against Eureka College (Ill.) three weeks ago that called back due to a penalty … In the last season and a half, CSS has returned six punts for touchdowns.
Sack Record Already in Jeopardy: With a pair of sacks on Saturday, senior
Joe Geiselman (Virginia, Minn./Virginia HS) now has 14 for his career … The Virginia, Minnesota-native is just a half sack shy from tying the program record of 14.5 held by
Blake Cedarleaf (Mahtomedi, Minn./Mahtomedi HS), who set that record in the final game of last season.
Spreading the Ball Around: So far this season, 18 different Saints have caught a pass … That is already a program-best as the previous high was 14 during the 2011 season … Also four different CSS quarterbacks have thrown touchdown passes, which is also a program-high in a season.
UMAC Streaks: The Saints have won 25 straight UMAC games; a streak dating back to October 20, 2012 … CSS has lost only one UMAC game in the last four seasons.
20 is the Magic Number: The Saints are 46-0 since 2010 when they score at least 20 points … They are only 1-16 all-time when they don't reach 20 points … That lone win came against Northwestern in 2010.

Last Meeting: After trailing after the first quarter, the Saints controlled the Tigers, out-scoring Iowa Wesleyan 41-0 in the second and third quarters en route to a 41-14 victory … Iowa Wesleyan was held to zero net yards rushing in the loss … This will be the first time the two teams will play at Public Schools Stadium.
