DULUTH, Minn. (csssaints.com) – The No. 22 St. Scholastica men's soccer team fell short to the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh Sunday afternoon at Saints Field giving up two unanswered goals in the second half to lose 2-1.
 
First Half
The Saints got the scoring started early in the match when Kyle Farrar (London, England/Kelsey Park Sports College) put CSS up 1-0 with his 15^th goal of the season just 6:19 into the game with the assists going to Jonny Harkin (Studley, England/St. Benedicts School) and Tom Corcoran (Warrington, England/Great Sankey HS, Priestley College).
 
The goal by Farrar would prove to be the only scoring of the half as CSS out-shot Oshkosh 7-4 in the first half.
 
Second Half
UW-Oshkosh would tie the game early in the second half scoring in the 57^th minute.
 
That score would stand until, with less than 15 minutes to go in the game, David Radtke netted his first goal of the season putting the Titans up 2-1 with 14:02 to go in the match.
 
A last ditch effort for CSS proved to be for naught as it was unable to put the ball in the net as the Titans escaped Duluth with a 2-1 victory over the Saints.
 
Sean Morgan (Belfast, Ireland/St. Patrick’s Grammar School) led the Saints in shots with three while Saints goaltender Sandy Davidson-Hunt (Kenora, Ontario/St. Thomas Aquinas) made three saves on the day.
