DULUTH, Minn. (csssaints.com) – The No. 22 St. Scholastica men's soccer team fell short to the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh Sunday afternoon at Saints Field giving up two unanswered goals in the second half to lose 2-1.

First Half
The Saints got the scoring started early in the match when Kyle Farrar (London, England/Kelsey Park Sports College) put CSS up 1-0 with his 15th goal of the season just 6:19 into the game with the assists going to Jonny Harkin (Studley, England/St. Benedicts School) and Tom Corcoran (Warrington, England/Great Sankey HS, Priestley College).

The goal by Farrar would prove to be the only scoring of the half as CSS out-shot Oshkosh 7-4 in the first half.

Second Half
UW-Oshkosh would tie the game early in the second half scoring in the 57th minute.

That score would stand until, with less than 15 minutes to go in the game, David Radtke netted his first goal of the season putting the Titans up 2-1 with 14:02 to go in the match.

A last ditch effort for CSS proved to be for naught as it was unable to put the ball in the net as the Titans escaped Duluth with a 2-1 victory over the Saints.

Sean Morgan (Belfast, Ireland/St. Patrick’s Grammar School) led the Saints in shots with three while Saints goaltender Sandy Davidson-Hunt (Kenora, Ontario/St. Thomas Aquinas) made three saves on the day.
