The LumberJacks opened the scoring at 1:02 of the first period with a goal from Darius Cole. Michael Berens got the assist on the play.
Just over halfway through the first period
Dylan Nowakowski (Calgary, Alberta/Centennial HS (Brooks-AJHL) ) would tie the game for the Saints with his ninth goal of the year from
Luke Simpson (Canmore, Alberta/Athol Murray College of Notre Dame (Canmore-AJHL) ) and
Steven Phee (Balzac, Alberta/George McDougall HS (Canmore-AJHL) ).
