PREVIEW: Men's Soccer Take On Undefeated UW-Oshkosh

OSHKOSH, Wis. (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica Saints men's soccer team looks to make it two wins in a row when it faces off against 3-0 and No. 21 University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh Titans on Saturday.

The Saints are coming off a 1-1 record down in San Antonio, Texas to open the season last weekend … The 3-1 loss was to fifth-ranked Trinity University … The Saints responded with a 4-0 victory over Southwestern University (Texas) to close the trip.
 
First Collegiate Shutout: Freshman goalkeeper Jacob Ballheimer (Gerrards Cross, England/Chalfonts Community College) earned his first collegiate shutout, recording five saves in the game against Southwestern.
 
Scoring Distribution: The four goals in the win over Southwestern came from junior Tom Corcoran (Warrington, England/Great Sankey HS, Priestley College), sophomore Kyle Farrar (Sevenoaks, England/Kelsey Park Sports College), freshman Jonny Winter (Healthfield, England/Healthfield Community College), and sophomore Shawayne Folkes (Toronto, Ontario/Maxwell Heights) … The lone goal against Trinity was recorded by senior Andrew Jenkins (Cardiff, Wales/Whitchurch HS).
 
Unlucky vs. Ranked Opponents: The Saints have still never beaten a NCAA ranked opponent in program history.
 
Series History: In the only two meetings between the two programs, which have each taken place in the last five years, the Titans have won both by 1-0 scores.
 
University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh Titans
The Titans are ranked 21st in this week's National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Division III poll … The Titans posted a fantastic record last year at 15-2-4 and are off to a 3-0-0 start this season … UW-Oshkosh has had only one losing season in program history and it happened to be its first year, 1984. The Titans have yet to allow a goal this season, outscoring their opponents 7-0 in the first three games … They are led this year by sophomore Nick Woodbury, who has recorded two goals in their first three games.
