PREVIEW: Men's Soccer Set to Host Two this Weekend

DULUTH, Minn. (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica men's soccer team will finally be playing at home this weekend after playing eight games over a span of almost a month on the road. The Saints are to host two UMAC games one against Bethany Lutheran College on Friday at 4:15 p.m. and another against Crown College Saturday at 2:15 p.m. at Saints Field.

Offensive Onslaught: In the game vs. Northland Kyle Farrar (Sevenoaks, England/Kelsey Park Sports College), Tom Corcoran (Warrington, England/Great Sankey HS, Priestley College), and Andrew Jenkins (Cardiff, Wales/Whitchurch HS) all recorded hat tricks and each player had at least one assist ... Shawayne Folkes (Toronto, Ontario/Maxwell Heights) has also been impressive scoring four goals in the last two games including a hat trick of his own against North Central.
 
More Like Ball Hammer: Saints goaltender Jacob Ballheimer (Gerrards Cross, England/Chalfonts Community College) is currently leading the conference in goals-against average with 1.12 goals allowed per game … He has allowed only nine total goals on the year while posting five shutouts in just eight games.
