DULUTH, Minn. (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica men's basketball team will take on Bethany Lutheran College in the UMAC Game of the Week on Friday and then face Martin Luther College on Saturday.

-The Saints look to build off of their win on Tuesday night at Northland College. CSS gave up just 55 points, well below its average of 76.2.

Jake Naslund (Barnum, Minn./Barnum HS) and
Trevor Morlock (Rogers, Minn./Rogers HS (Minn., Crookston)) played well for the Saints, as Naslund had a game-high 17 points on 7-of-8 shooting and Morlock had 16 points and eight rebounds.
-Morlock is averaging 15.9 points per game in league games, which is fifth-best in the league.
-St. Scholastica leads the UMAC with 36.6 rebounds per game and is second with 2.8 blocks per game on the season.
-CSS is currently tied with Bethany Lutheran for fourth in the conference standings, making Friday's contest even more important for both teams.

Bethany Lutheran College Vikings

-The Vikings are coming off of a 79-67 win over Martin Luther College on Tuesday evening, boosting it to a tie for fourth in the conference with St. Scholastica.
-Jacob Wensmann leads the way for Bethany Lutheran, averaging 17.2 points and 8.2 rebounds, good for third and first in the conference.
-Trent Kuechenmeister and Luke Roddy have also contributed offensively, averaging 9.5 and 7.9 points, respectively.
-Bethany Lutheran has struggled defensively this season, allowing opponents to shoot at a blistering 47.6 percent on the year.
-This will be just the third home game of the conference season for the Vikings.

-The Knights look to rebound from a tough loss at Bethany Lutheran on Tuesday night. Martin Luther enters the weekend on a three-game losing streak.
-Galen Holzhueter leads the way offensively for the Knights and is second in the UMAC with 20.7 points per game. He is also fourth in the conference with 7.5 rebounds per game.
-The Knights are second in the UMAC in shot attempts per game, partially due to their conference-best 12.1 offensive rebounds per game.
-Martin Luther has struggled shooting the ball this season. The Knights shoot 27.2 percent from three and 63.6 percent at the free throw line.
-Four of the Knights' six remaining regular season games are at home, where three of its four victories have come this season.
-Martin Luther averages 10 more points per game at home than on the road.
