ROCHESTER, Minn. (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica women's tennis team was defeated 9-0 by the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse on Sunday at the Rochester Tennis Connection.
The closest match of the afternoon, turned out to be at No. 3 doubles as
Pamela Hartley (Lima, Peru/Franklin Roosevelt College) and
Allie Carlson (Aitkin, Minn./Aitkin HS) fell in a tiebreaker 9-8 (7-4). The Eagles won the six singles matches in straight sets. La Crosse is ranked 18th in the Central Region by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.
The Saints (3-2) will be in action next weekend down in St. Peter as they will face Gustavus Adolphus on Friday night, Minnesota State-Moorhead Saturday morning and Minnesota State-Mankato Saturday afternoon.
