PREVIEW: Women's Tennis to take on UW-La Crosse

DULUTH, Minn. (csssaints.com)—The St. Scholastica women's tennis team will travel to Rochester to take on the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse on Sunday at 3 p.m.

St. Scholastica Saints
Record:
 3-1 (0-0 UMAC)

-The Saints are coming off a winning sweep against Concordia College (Minn.).
-Saints No. 1 doubles team of Alexis Gunderson (Virginia, Minn./Virginia HS) and Jessica Solberg (Bemidji, Minn. /Bemidji HS), as well as Alexa Herbst (Foley, Minn. /Foley HS) and Madeleine Scanlan (St. Albans, England /Loreto College) in the No. 2 spot are both 4-0.
-In the No. 2 singles spot Jessica Solberg (Bemidji, Minn. /Bemidji HS) is also 4-0 on the season.
-CSS is also 4-0 at the No. 5 singles flight.

University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Eagles
Record: 8-2 (5-1 WIAC)
Head Coach: Bill Hehli
-The Eagles took second place at the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championship tournament in October.
-The No. 2 doubles team of Bryanne Blanton and Kimmy Mrozek went 10-0 during the fall season.
-La Crosse doubles teams went 25-5 in dual matches last fall.
-Abby Tresedder won her final five singles matches in the fall.
-This match will be the first match the Eagles have played since their conference tournament in October.
Series History: (CSS is 2-3 vs. UW-La Crosse)
-The last meeting between these two programs was in 2011 when the Eagles beat the Saints 6-3.
