DULUTH, Minn. (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica men's basketball team will host Crown College on Friday and the University of Minnesota Morris on Saturday for Senior Day in its final home games of the season.

St. Scholastica Saints

- The Saints split their two games last weekend losing Friday's game against Bethany Lutheran and then coming back to defeat Martin Luther on Saturday.
- The Saints came back from a 17-point deficit to beat the Knights on Saturday by a score of 70-67. That is the largest deficit overcome since they came back to defeat UW-River Falls from 19 points down to open the 2008-09 season.
- With four games remaining, the Saints sit in fifth place in the league, a game back of both Bethany Lutheran and Crown for third and fourth.

Trevor Morlock (Rogers, Minn./Rogers HS (Minn., Crookston)) has been leading the Saints offensively with a 13.7 points per game average. He is also averaging 7.5 rebounds a game which is good for fourth in the UMAC.
- Coming off his first career start.
Andrew Laughlin (Duluth, Minn./Duluth Central HS) scored a team-high 13 points against Martin Luther on Saturday.
- Saturday's game will be Senior Night for the Saints as they honor their lone senior,
Steve Golobich (Mountain Iron, Minn./Mountain Iron-Buhl HS (Mesabi Range CC)).

Crown College Storm
Record: 9-12 (6-4 UMAC)

- Crown lost both of its games last weekend against Northwestern and North Central.
- The Storm have three players averaging double figures, led by Bryce Williams' 20.9 points per game and followed by Truman Shetler and James Brown with 13.2 and 10.4 averages respectively.
- Williams' 20.9 average leads all conference players.
- Brown is third in the conference in terms of 3-point percentage as he has been shooting the long ball at 42.1 percent. Teammate Tom Messner is also shooting the 3-ball well as he is fourth in the UMAC shooting at 40.8 percent.
- As a team, Crown is the top scoring team in the UMAC, averaging 77.2 points a game. Defense is a different story though, as they allow the most points in the conference at 79.4 points a game.
Series History: (CSS is 26-4 vs. Crown)
- The Saints dropped their first game against Crown earlier this year by a score of 84-68.

University of Minnesota Morris Cougars
Record: 13-8 (7-3 UMAC)

- The Cougars split their games last weekend by beating North Central on Friday, but losing the following night to Northwestern.
- Morris has a very balanced offensive attack as they have four players averaging double figures. Brendan Foss leads the team with a 12.1 points per game average. He is followed by Cody Emrick (11.4 ppg), R.J. Dean (10.4 ppg), and Evan Reller (10.1 ppg).
- Emrick has been playing very well lately as he has scored in the double figures in the last six games, including a 23-point outburst against North Central.
- Reller is shooting 56.2 percent from the field on the year, which is second in the UMAC.
- Reller is also averaging 7.6 rebounds a game, which is third in the conference. Foss is fifth in the conference with 6.9 boards a game.
