Tyler Harper (Minneapolis, Minn./DeLaSalle HS) tops all UMAC passers with 13 touchdowns on the season and holds the second best average for passing yards per game…Seven different Saints receivers have at least one receiving touchdown this year.
Rookie Sensation: CSS freshman running back
Preston Robinson (Northfield, Minn./Northfield HS) has been making his presence felt on offense…Against Northwestern Robinson rushed for 111 yards and two touchdowns…The game marks Robinson's first with 100 yards or more on the ground…Robinson has seen his offensive workload increase every week and that trend should continue.
Cedarleaf Closing in on History: After being credited with a half sack against Northwestern,
Blake Cedarleaf (Mahtomedi, Minn./Mahtomedi HS) needs just one sack to tie St. Scholastica's program record for career sacks held by Christopher Doran…Cedarleaf has one sack so far this season and 12.5 in his Saints career.
Series History: St. Scholastica holds an all-time record of 4-0 against MacMurray College…All contests have been settled by 30 or more points.
MacMurray CollegeThe Highlanders hold a 1-4 overall record this season and are 1-3 against UMAC opponents…Despite the losing record MacMurray has played very competitively with two of its losses decided by just six points…MacMurray College also boasts a dangerous offense with quarterback Coy Dorothy who is second in the UMAC in passing touchdowns with 10 and fifth in passing yards per game…Highlander running back Patrick Hall is second in the UMAC for rushing yards and rushing yards per game to go along with five rushing touchdowns…The MacMurray defense, however, has allowed the most points and yards per game of any UMAC team.
Head Coach Chris Douglas: Coach Douglas is in his fourth season as head coach of the Highlanders ... After playing for Southwestern College in Winfield, Kan., where he earned a first team all-conference selection and NAIA All-American Scholar-Athlete, Douglas was an assistant coach at his alma mater, where he helped Southwestern win three KCAC Championships in three consecutive seasons (1997-99) and three NAIA National Playoff appearances...He coached 63 All-Conference selections, two NAIA All-American selections, three NAIA All-American Scholar-Athletes, and mentored over 300 student-athletes in his time at Southwestern.
