DULUTH, Minn. (csssaints.com) - The St. Scholastica men's soccer team claimed the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) regular season title on Saturday with a 13-0 victory over North Central University (Minn.) on Senior Day at Saints Field.

The Saints scored five goals in the first half with
Shawayne Folkes (Toronto, Ontario/Maxwell Heights) registering two of those five.
Logan Tamke (Ashland, Wis./Ashland HS),
Joe Chell (Ascot, England/Charters School) and
Tom Corcoran (Warrington, England/Great Sankey HS, Priestley College) recorded the other three goals.

After a North Central own goal,
Charlie Crane (Southampton, England/Brockenhurst College) opened the second half with a pair of goals to make it 8-0.
Jonny Winter (Healthfield, England/Healthfield Community College),
Josh Robak (St. Cloud, Minn./St. Cloud Cathedral) and
Ben Cullen (Clough, Northern Ireland/Shimna Integrated College) then recorded three more goals in the span of eight minutes.

In the final five minutes, Tamke added his second of the day and finally senior
Marat Kudaibergenov (Semey, Kazakhstan/Semey Kazakh-Turkish HS) scored with 30 seconds left on Senior Day to make the final 13-0.

Goalkeeper
Jacob Ballheimer (Gerrards Cross, England/Chalfonts Community College) made two saves to earn his 11
th shutout of the season. The program record for shutouts in a season is 13 set by Sam Reed in 2010. The Saints have now scored 108 goals this season. The program record is 113 set last season.

The Saints (16-2, 12-0 UMAC) will conclude their regular season next weekend on the road when it faces the University of Minnesota Morris on Friday and Martin Luther College on Saturday. The Morris match is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. on Halloween.
