DULUTH, Minn. (csssaints.com) – St. Scholastica football (7-0, 6-0 UMAC) returns home after back-to-back road games to take on the Eureka College Red Devils (2-5, 2-4 UMAC) at Public Schools Stadium on Saturday.

The Saints are coming into the matchup against Eureka following an impressive 49-14 victory over Martin Luther College last week…St. Scholastica has scored over 40 points in four of its seven games this season.

Honoring Edwards: The CSS football team will honor Athletics Adminstrative Assistant Merissa Edwards Saturday night by wearing special orange armbands as well as the orange ribbon on helmets, which has been there since training camp ... Edwards is currently battling a rare and aggressive form of Leukemia.
 
UMAC Success: The Saints have won 18 straight UMAC games; a streak dating back to October 20, 2012 … CSS has lost only one UMAC game in the last three seasons … That 2012 loss came against Northwestern at Ordean Stadium.

Room to Run: CSS ran the ball very effectively in its last game against Martin Luther…Preston Robinson (Northfield, Minn./Northfield HS) was the top rusher totaling 151 yards and a touchdown while averaging nearly nine yards a carry…Hunter Thompson (Buffalo, Minn./Buffalo HS), another freshman running back, finished with 56 yards and a touchdown while averaging 9.3 yards per carry.
 
Nose for the End Zone: Saints tight end Shane Finnegan (Woodbury, Minn./Hill-Murray HS) has a receiving touchdown in each of the last four games…Finnegan's five receiving touchdowns on the year rank fourth in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference.
 
Career Year: St. Scholastica quarterback Tyler Harper (Minneapolis, Minn./DeLaSalle HS) has set career bests in touchdown passes (19) and passing yards per game (203.3) this season…Harper also eclipsed 5,000 career passing yards following last week's victory over Martin Luther College.
 
Defensive Milestone: CSS defensive lineman Blake Cedarleaf (Mahtomedi, Minn./Mahtomedi HS) remains tied with Christopher Doran for the programs career sack record…St. Scholastica did not record a sack last week against Martin Luther…Cedarleaf is tied for second in the team lead with two sacks this season.
 
Special Teams Contributions: St. Scholastica has scored a special teams touchdown in consecutive weeks…Mitch Ejnik (New London, Minn./New London-Spicer HS ) returned a punt 70 yards for a touchdown last week against the Knights and Kenneth Jinkins (Eagan, Minn./Henry Sibley HS) had a 92 yard kick return touchdown against MacMurray College the week before that.
 
More Offense: The Saints are averaging more points per game than any other UMAC team at 40 per game…CSS also has scored more touchdowns on the season (37) than any other UMAC team.
 
Series History: St. Scholastica owns a 4-1 all-time record against the Red Devils…Since losing the first contest between the two teams ever in 2009, 21-20, the Saints have defeated Eureka in four straight matchups.

Eureka enters the matchup against St. Scholastica on a two-game losing streak…The Red Devils have had trouble on the road this season as they are 0-3 in away games…Sophomore wideout Dorell Baugh leads the Eureka in receiving yards (487) and receiving touchdowns (5)…The Red Devils sport a pass-heavy offense led by senior quarterback Blake Robles who was a preseason All-American selection…Eureka's average of 224.7 passing yards per game is second best in the UMAC.
 
Head Coach Kurt Barth: Barth is in his sixth season as head coach of the Red Devils…Barth has implanted his trademark air-raid passing offense at Eureka and led the team to an eight win season last year…Barth was elected into the Eureka College Athletics Hall of Fame in 2004 as a former three time NCAA Division III All-American…Barth also serves as an Assistant Athletic Director and the track and field coach for Eureka College.
