Box Score APPLETON, Wis. (csssaints.com) – The 15th-ranked St. Scholastica men's hockey team used three third period goals to skate past Lawrence University (Wis.) 4-1 Friday night in a Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) contest.
The Saints began scoring early in the first period when 
Derek Hills (Campbell River, British Columbia/Timberline Secondary (Bowling Green State) ) capitalized on a power-play less than four minutes into the game.  It was Hills' third goal of the season.  
Chad Golanowski (Calgary, Alberta/Bishop Carroll HS (Calgary Canucks-AJHL) ) had the assist.
The Vikings evened the score in the second period when Brandon Boelter and Blake Roubos assisted Huck Saunders on a power-play goal, his seventh of the season. 
The score remained 1-1 until the 11 minute mark of the third period as Hills, assisted by 
Paul Marcoux (Brandon, Manitoba /Vincent Massey Collegiate (Waywayseecappo-MJHL) ), lit the lamp for the second time giving the Saints the go-ahead goal.
With less than three minutes left in the game 
Dylan Nowakowski (Calgary, Alberta/Centennial HS (Brooks-AJHL) ) secured the Saints lead to 3-1.  
Derek Sutliffe (Las Vegas, Nev./Odyssey Charter School (Langley Rivermen-BCHL) ) and 
Keegan Bruce (Bellingham, Wash./Bellingham HS (Weyburn-SJHL) ) were credited with the assists. 
Bobby Lipsett (Salmon Arm, British Columbia/Salmon Arm Secondary (Salmon Arm-BCHL) ) followed with an empty netter, his first goal of the season. 
Joel Paiement (Okotoks, Alberta/Holy Trinity Academy (Calgary Canucks-AJHL) ) had the assist.
The Saints defeated the Vikings with 
Tyler Bruggeman (North Mankato, Minn./Mankato West HS (Austin-NAHL) ) in net.  Bruggeman stopped 20 of 21 shots as he saw most of the shots in the second period.  Bruggeman now holds a 7-3-2 record. Mattias Soderqvist had 29 saves in the loss for the Vikings
The Saints (10-4-4, 7-1-3 NCHA) will face the Vikings (4-13-1, 3-8-0 NCHA) again tomorrow at 4 p.m.
