DULUTH, Minn. (csssaints.com) – For the second straight year, the St. Scholastica men's soccer team will face the same team in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Tournament semifinals as it ended the regular season when Bethany Lutheran College visits Saints Field Wednesday at 2 p.m.

-The Saints went unbeaten and untied in league play during the regular season for the second straight year, marking the first time in program history that has happened.

Joe Watt (London, England/North West Kent College) tallied 30 assists this season, also breaking the program record of 26 which he set last season. The 30 assists are currently tied for the most in a season in NCAA Division III history. His 1.56 assists per game average is the best in the country.

Tom Corcoran (Warrington, England/Great Sankey HS, Priestley College) is second in the UMAC with 26 goals, and his 1.11 goals per game. Corcoran has recorded a hat trick in three straight games, becoming the first in program history to do so.
-The Saints dominated the UMAC in nearly every offensive category. CSS was first in the conference in goals, goals per game, assists, shots and shots per game.
-CSS also had a dominant defense this season, allowing just nine goals all season, just 0.44 goals per game.

Adam Hewitt (Richmond Hill, Ontario/St. Theresa of Lisieux Catholic HS) was first in the conference with just eight goals allowed. His .46 goals against average is currently 14th in the nation.

Bethany Lutheran College Vikings

-Ben Moldstad has led the way for the Vikings offensively, scoring 10 goals and adding seven assists, both of which lead the team. His 26 points are fifth in the UMAC behind the Saints' Jenkins, Watt, Corcoran and Morgan.
-Bethany Lutheran has four players with double digit points this season, Moldstad, Michael Loquercio, Juan Garcia and Laya Kaba.
-Ryan Bolte and Noah Heidorn have been splitting time in net for the Vikings this season. Heidorn has a 2.82 goals against average, while Bolte has a 1.93 goals against average. However, Heidorn has seen the majority of time this year, and was in net when CSS defeated the Vikings on Saturday.
-Bethany Lutheran is second in the UMAC with 43 goals on the season, but has given up 44 goals on the year. Their 2.30 goals against average is fourth in the conference.
-Before losing to the Saints on Saturday in the regular season finale, the Vikings had won four of their last five games.
-Bethany Lutheran has been a second half team this year. The Vikings have been outscored by 10 in the first half, but have outscored opponents by 10 goals in the second half.
