DULUTH, Minn. (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica football team will put its undefeated conference record on the line on Saturday when it takes on one-loss Eureka College (Ill.) at 1 p.m. at McKinzie Field.

St. Scholastica Saints
Record:

-The Saints are coming off of a 48-14 victory over Martin Luther College.  CSS has now won six straight games.
-CSS is currently tied atop the UMAC standings at 6-0 with Greenville College.
-In last Saturday's win, Jake Jensen (South St. Paul, Minn./South St. Paul HS) amassed 174 yards on just 13 carries while scoring three times.  Alec French (Isanti, Minn./St. Francis HS) set a program record for tackles in a game with 21.  French also had an interception and a blocked kick in the game.  Both players were named UMAC Players of the Week.
-Jake Jensen (South St. Paul, Minn./South St. Paul HS)'s three rushing touchdowns last week tied the program record for career rushing TDs (22) with Christopher Henagin. Jensen is also one TD shy of the overall TD record set by Keegan O'Neill (25).
-CSS is 25-for-29 in the red zone including 21 scores being touchdowns.
-St. Scholastica has outscored opponents 125-19 in the second and third quarter combined.
-Linebackers Keaton Rush (Minneapolis, Minn./DeLaSalle HS), Tyler Zurn (Cottage Grove, Minn./Park HS), and Paul Olson (Minneapolis, Minn./DeLaSalle HS) have combined for 149 tackles on the season including six sacks. 
-The Saints offense averages 44.5 points per game at home, but is only averaging 18.7 points in road games this season. Opponents have been averaging 21.3 points when hosting the Saints and only 10.8 points when visiting Duluth.
-The CSS rushing attack is good enough for 18th-best in NCAA Division III, averaging 263.9 yards per game.
-The CSS passing defense is ranked eighth in NCAA Division III, allowing only 131 yards per game. The Saints have the 17th-best total defense in the country at 267 yards per game.
-CSS's first seven opponents have a combined record of 8-24. The final three opponents are 14-6.

Eureka College Red Devils
Record: 6-1, 5-1 UMAC
Head Coach: Kurt Barth (5th Season)
-Eureka is coming off of a 23-15 victory over MacMurray College.
-The Red Devils are 6-1 for the first time since 1995 and the fourth time ever in the 110-season history of the program.
-The only loss of the season came at home against conference co-leader Greenville by a score of 28-27. The Red Devils led in that game 13-0 at the end of first quarter and 27-21 late in the fourth.
-Eureka averages 361.1 yards per game including 254 yards coming thru the air.
-The Red Devils are 82-percent in the red zone going 23-for-28.
-Eureka has outscored opponents 51-7 in the first quarter.
-Quarterback Blake Robles is in his first season as a starter after transferring from NAIA's Ottawa University (Kan.). Robles leads the UMAC in completions (141) and attempts (237) and is second in yards (1,753) and touchdowns (15).
-The Red Devil receiving corps has six different receivers with 10 or more catches on the year. Dorell Baugh has six rushing and four receiving touchdowns to lead the Eureka offense.
-Jacob Carls leads the defense with 59 tackles.  Stew McGinnis had 12.0 TFLs to go along with 40 tackles.
-Eureka leads the UMAC in sacks with 23 total, one more than CSS.
-The Red Devils are fourth in the country in red zone defense as teams have converted just seven of 15 opportunities.
-The Red Devils have led at halftime in six of their seven games this season
Series History: (CSS is 3-1 vs. Eureka)
-The Saints lost the first-ever meeting against the Red Devils in 2009 at the Metrodome by a score of 21-20.
-The lone trip to Illinois saw the Saints defeat Eureka 48-7 in the regular season finale in 2011.
-Last season, the Saints defeated the Red Devils 35-10 at PSS.
