Box Score MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (csssaints.com) - The St. Scholastica men's soccer team outshot North Central 47-4 on Saturday afternoon as the Saints downed UMAC (Upper Midwest Athletic Conference) rival North Central 7-0 to remain undefeated in conference play.

CSS needed just 44 seconds to quickly jump out to a 1-0 lead as Ryan Cullen (Andover, Minn./Andover HS) found the back of the net courtesy of a Joe Watt (London, England/North West Kent College) pass. Less than six minutes later, the Saints would strike again, as Sean Morgan (Belfast, Ireland/St. Patrick’s Grammar School) scored the unassisted goal to give CSS a two goal advantage. Andrew Jenkins (Cardiff, Wales/Whitchurch HS) would score his first of two goals later in the 14th minute off the Andrew Xotta-Dickson (Adelaide, South Australia/Prince Alfred College (Anoka Ramsey CC)) assist to push the lead to 3-0. Less than five minutes after the Jenkins goal, Watt tallied his second assist of the half, as Caleb Yurek (Northfield, Minn./Northfield HS) gave St. Scholastica a four goal advantage, completing the scoring for the half.

The Saints continued their barrage in the second half, as Tom Corcoran (Warrington, England/Great Sankey HS, Priestley College) finished the pass from Antony Blackburn (Derby, England/John Port School) just less than four minutes in. 30 seconds later, Corcoran would assist Jenkins on his second goal of the afternoon to give CSS a 6-0 lead. Jenkins then joined the assist parade by finding Sean Morgan (Belfast, Ireland/St. Patrick’s Grammar School) for his second goal of the contest. The contest would end with the final score of 7-0, as the Saints scored all goals in the beginning 20 minutes of each half.

Adam Hewitt (Richmond Hill, Ontario/St. Theresa of Lisieux Catholic HS) made two saves in the victory for the Saints, while NCU keeper Nathan Kraines made 22 saves in the losing effort for the Rams. The win gives CSS a 10-0 UMAC record and a 10 game winning streak.

The Saints look to extend their winning streak next Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. at Ordean Stadium as CSS takes on UW-Superior in the annual border battle . Live stats and video can be found on Saints Sports Net.
