About the Saints
Record: 5-2-0, 3-0-0 UMAC

• The Saints opened conference play last week with three wins, including a 3-1 victory over rival Minnesota Morris on Homecoming Saturday.
• The Saints outscored their opponents 21-3 in those three games.
• CSS has tallied 25 assists on the year thus far; nearly five times that of their opponents (six).
• The Saints have sported a balanced offensive attack, with four players already tallying 10 or more points.
• Andrew Jenkins (Cardiff, Wales/Whitchurch HS) leads the UMAC in points (17) and goals (seven) thus far. Joe Watt (London, England/North West Kent College) and Rob Johnson (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS) share the assist lead with six apiece, while Adam Hewitt (Richmond Hill, Ontario/St. Theresa of Lisieux Catholic HS) is second in save percentage.
• Johnson was named the UMAC Offensive Player of the Week this week.
• The Saints average nearly four goals a game (3.71), while opponents average only one goal per contest.
• Concordia-Moorhead is the only team this season to score more than one goal against the superb Saints defense, in which the Saints emerged with the 4-2 victory.

About the Rams
Record: 2-3-1, 1-1-0 UMAC

• The Rams look to build off their 2-0 victory Saturday at Martin Luther after being shut out 3-0 at Bethany Lutheran on Friday.
• Sophomore forward Christian Stepaniak has been the offensive power for the Rams thus far this season, leading NCU with eight points off of three goals and two assists.
• Junior goalkeeper Nathan Kraines was named the UMAC Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week after his shutout performance at Martin Luther.
• The Rams have been outscored 16-7 so far this season, but have recorded two shutouts against Faith Baptist Bible College in the season opener and Martin Luther last Saturday.
• NCU was picked seventh in the UMAC Coaches' Poll.

The Saints defeated the Rams in three home contests, two road contests and one neutral match. The Saints have outscored the Rams by a combined total of 32-4 in those games

About the Eagles
Record: 4-2-0, 2-0-0 UMAC

• Despite being shut out in their first two contests against St. Olaf (3-0) and St. Thomas (2-0), the Eagles have won their past four games, including a recent 1-0 shut out of Hamline at home on Tuesday.
• The Eagles have yet to allow a goal at home, blanking Hamline on Tuesday and Bethel earlier in the year
• The Eagles offense has been anchored by senior forward Sam Mann (UMAC First Team All-Conference 2010), who has 12 points on six goals on the season.
• Sophomore Sam Diatta has four of the 10 Eagle assists this season.
• Despite being outshot 59-80 thus far this season, the Eagles' offense has come to life as of late, outscoring opponents 11-5 on their four game winning streak.
• Northwestern has outscored UMAC foes 9-5 in the first two games, and have a Thursday UMAC contest at home against Northland before traveling to Duluth to face the Saints.

About the Saints
Record: 3-3-1, 2-1-0 UMAC

• The Saints will look to rebound in conference play after losing 1-0 to Minnesota Morris last Saturday during CSS's Homecoming.  It was the first defeat for the Saints in 99 straight regular season conference games.  That streak was the second longest winning streak in NCAA Division III history.
• Andrea Beatt (Maple Grove, Minn./Maple Grove HS) and Shannon Carlson (Woodbury, Minn./Woodbury HS) lead the Saints with three goals each on the year.
• Logan Williamson (Bloomington, Minn./Jefferson HS) and Alexi Bopray (River Falls, Wis./River Falls HS) have chipped in with two goals apiece so far this season.
• The Saints have attempted 68 shots on the year.
• Kelsey Reeves (Eagle River, Alaska/Eagle River HS ) leads the goalkeeping staff with 40 saves.
• The Saints have outscored their opponents 9-1 in the first half of games this season.

About the Rams
Record: 2-3-0, 0-2-0 UMAC

• The Rams opened up the year with two victories, but have dropped three straight contests, including two in UMAC play.
• Marissa Dean and Christina Goodman lead the Rams with three goals apiece.
• Karlee Hoover has dished out four assists on the year.
• Noelle Stordock has 59 total saves on the year for the Rams and boasts a .868 save percentage.
• The Rams were picked to finish seventh in their first year as associate members of the UMAC, according to the preseason coaches' poll.

The Saints defeated the Rams 6-0 during last year's Homecoming game.  Lauryn Wilson (Fargo, N.D./Fargo South HS) had two goals in the winning effort.


About the Eagles
Record: 2-3-0, 2-0-0 UMAC

• The Eagles are 0-3 against MIAC opponents this year, but have found success in the UMAC, boasting a 2-0 conference record.
• The Eagles have only allowed one goal in conference play.
• Franchie Piche leads the team with two goals.
• The goalkeeping staff has stopped 45 total shots on the year.
• The Eagles were picked to finish second in the league this season, according to the preseason coaches' poll.

Series History: (CSS is 29-9-1 vs. Northwestern)
